The goal was clear when designing the Recon 1.0, apply the design of the S-Works Recon in a very accessible pack. So Specialized created a shoe with the qualities of Body Geometry with a durable and very comfortable result. So yes, Mission accomplished.

With exclusive STRIDE toe-flex technology, the nylon sole is composed of TPU injected into the forefoot area to leave freedom of movement when lowering the foot to the ground, and providing a stiffness index of 6.0 when pedaling. The Recon 1.0 is a double-edged sword that gives the necessary efficiency both on the pedals and when you must walk.

For increased traction of the shoe either dry and wet or gravel and mud, we have covered the sole with the Slipnot compound. In addition, we have raised the heel of the shoe for a more natural feeling when walking.

The three Velcro closures make the foot easily in and give you perfect comfort and fit for pedaling throughout the day on trails, paths or for when you have to walk.
